Silver satin is the most reflective fabric in the range and the closest thing here to a formal jacket. Under stage or event lighting it behaves completely differently from wool, which is the reason it gets chosen for performances and awards evenings.

The finish makes lettering choices narrower than usual: dark thread reads well, pale thread disappears into the sheen, and heavy chenille tends to sit awkwardly on satin. Flat embroidery generally gives the better result.
