Ordering and availability
Are you currently accepting orders?
Yes, Design My Varsity is open and accepting orders now. You can order any jacket in the collection or build a fully custom one with the Custom Varsity Builder at designmyvarsity.com. Every jacket is made to order and ships worldwide.
How long does it take to get a custom varsity jacket?
Expect 13 to 19 business days in total. Custom jackets are made to order and take 8 to 12 business days to produce, then 5 to 7 business days in transit to most destinations. Remote locations may take slightly longer.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Contact us as quickly as possible at support@designmyvarsity.com. Design changes can be made while your jacket is at the digital mockup stage, before production begins. Once production has started, orders can't be changed and delivery addresses can't be updated.
Customisation
Can I design my own varsity jacket?
Yes. The Custom Varsity Builder lets you choose your body and sleeve colours, then add names, numbers, varsity letters, logos, mascots and sleeve artwork. You can pick simple embroidery or raised chenille patches. Plain custom jackets start at $129.
Can I put my school, team or company logo on the jacket?
Yes. You can add school, team, club, society or company logos, mascots, names and numbers to the chest, back and sleeves. Upload your artwork in the builder — professional files, photos, screenshots and even hand-drawn sketches all work.
Do I see a design mockup before the jacket is made?
Yes. After you order, we send a digital mockup of your jacket for approval before production starts. You can request changes at that stage, and nothing is manufactured until you approve the design.
What's the difference between embroidery and chenille patches?
Simple embroidery is stitched flat onto the jacket and gives crisp detail for logos and small text. Chenille patches are the raised, fuzzy felt letters traditionally used on letterman jackets, with more texture and depth. Both are available in the builder; chenille is priced slightly higher.
Can I upload my own logo or artwork?
Yes. You can upload artwork directly in the Custom Varsity Builder. Vector or high-resolution files give the best results, but photos, screenshots and hand sketches are fine too — we redraw artwork for embroidery or chenille and show you a digital mockup before production.
Product and sizing
What are your varsity jackets made of?
Our classic varsity jackets have a wool body with genuine leather sleeves, a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, a snap-button front and a lined interior. The collection also includes all-wool and satin styles without leather sleeves.
What sizes do you offer?
XS through 5XL in men's sizing and XS through 4XL in women's sizing. A custom size option is also available if you need measurements outside the standard range — just send your measurements with your order.
How do I choose the right size varsity jacket?
Varsity jackets are traditionally worn with a relaxed fit, so most people order their usual size for a classic look or one size up for an oversized streetwear fit. Cropped and oversized styles already run loose. If you're between sizes, use the custom size option and send your chest, shoulder and sleeve measurements.
Do you make women's or cropped varsity jackets?
Yes. We offer cropped and oversized fits in women's sizing XS to 4XL, in colours including pink, lavender, cream, beige, maroon, navy, green and white. Every style can be customised with your own patches, letters and embroidery.
How much does a custom varsity jacket cost?
Plain custom jackets start at $129 USD. Adding patches raises the price — roughly $149 for one, $169 for two, $183 for three and $199 for four, depending on whether you choose embroidery or chenille. Ready-made styles run from $129 up to around $300. Any active sale is applied at checkout.
What is a varsity jacket or letterman jacket?
A varsity jacket — also called a letterman jacket — is a classic American college jacket with a wool body, contrasting sleeves, a ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, and a snap-button front. They're traditionally decorated with chenille letters, patches and embroidery to show school, team or club identity. Every jacket we make can be fully customised.
Shipping
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Shipping is free on every order, worldwide, with no minimum spend. Import duties and taxes charged by your own country are separate and remain the customer's responsibility.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. After the 8 to 12 business day production window, transit takes 5 to 7 business days, so most international orders arrive within 13 to 19 business days. Shipping is free to every destination.
Do you offer express or rush shipping?
No — we run one standard timeline: 8 to 12 business days for production plus 5 to 7 business days in transit. Because every jacket is made to order, production can't be expedited. Allow about 13 to 19 business days total when ordering for a specific date.
Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
Possibly. Import duties, taxes and customs fees charged by your local authorities are not included in your order total and are the customer's responsibility. Amounts vary by country, and we can't predict them or influence customs clearance times.
How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your jacket is dispatched. Allow up to 48 hours for the carrier to begin showing updates. If tracking hasn't moved after that, email support@designmyvarsity.com.
Returns and refunds
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on eligible items. Jackets must be unworn, unwashed, free of any signs of wear or alteration, and have all original tags attached. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item arrived faulty or incorrect.
Can I return a custom or personalised jacket?
Custom and made-to-order jackets are final sale and can't be returned or exchanged, because they're produced specifically for you and can't be resold. The exception is a jacket that arrives faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered — we'll replace or refund that. This is why we send a digital mockup for approval before production.
How do I request a return?
Email returns@designmyvarsity.com with your order number and the reason for return within 30 days of delivery. Please wait for our confirmation and return address before posting anything, and use a tracked service when you send it back.
Can I exchange my jacket for a different size?
Yes, for standard non-customised jackets within 30 days of delivery, subject to stock availability. If your size isn't available we'll issue a refund or store credit instead. Custom jackets can only be exchanged if they arrive faulty or incorrect, so check sizing before ordering.
What if my jacket arrives damaged or incorrect?
Email support@designmyvarsity.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. If the jacket is faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, we cover return shipping and will arrange a free replacement, repair or full refund — this applies to custom jackets too. Please don't post it back before contacting us.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few extra days to show the funds. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
Business and service
Do you offer bulk, team, school or wholesale orders?
Yes. We produce orders for teams, schools, clubs, societies, Greek life groups, brands and companies, with no fixed minimum quantity. Bulk pricing is quoted per order — email support@designmyvarsity.com with your quantity, size list, colours, artwork and deadline and we'll send a quote.

Do you have a physical store or offer local pickup?
No — Design My Varsity is an online-only store with no retail locations and no local pickup. Every jacket is made to order and shipped directly to you, worldwide and free of shipping charges. Our registered address is 4-6 Greatorex Street, London, United Kingdom, E1 5NF.
Do you have any discount codes or current promotions?
Any active sale or promotion is shown on designmyvarsity.com and applied automatically at checkout — no code is needed unless one is specifically advertised. Bulk and team orders are quoted separately, so email support@designmyvarsity.com for a group price.
